MFF #57

Okay, I don't know how it got to be Friday already but being that I have all next week off I AM NOT COMPLAINING.

I do have to say that teaching 6 classes in 4 different subjects is exhausting and I feel like I have barely enough time to stay sort of caught up with prepping, grading, etc.  I have yet to really touch any of my own classes that I am taking and I am so thankful I was able to get so much of it completed before school started so that I do have some lee room and don't have to stress over that, too.

Now here is some fun (hopefully) for your eyes to read.  My installment of MFF:

My plans for Labor Day included having to go to work, but what really happened was I went to work and didn't even realize that the rest of the US was having a grand ole BBQ while I taught Algebra, Geometry and Precalculus (GO ME!).

Call me crazy, but sometimes I just need to scream and curse, which usually gets directed at my husband for something stupidly irritating.

One of the funniest things I’ve seen lately is the look on my students' faces when I locked the door and made them wait til I was ready to come talk to them when they showed up TARDY to my class.

It’s strange, but dirty dishes stacked in the sink drives me crazy while dirty dishes stacked next to the sink is perfectly fine with me!  There is a difference okay!

One, two, buckle my shoe… three, four drink a little tequila and have some more.

First of all... I totally, 100% agree with the dishes. It drives me NUTS when my husband puts them in the sink and they fester for a day or two in putrid water. I want him to rinse them off and stack them NEXT to the sink. You are right, there's a difference.

Second... I like you #5 =)

I thought I was the only person who had to work on Labor Day! Lame. But your last answer I could totally get behind! lol
