Best (and worst) of 2011

Okay this will be short because I'm not feeling great but I have this stuck in my head. Here is what was my best and worst of 2011... And what I'm looking forward to the most in 2012... Bet you can guess.

BEST: Losing 30 pounds easily using the Dukan Diet. I'm in the last phase and finding it just as easy to keep the weight off.

WORST: Coming home from an awesome vacation to Washington to find our refrigerator had had no power for three weeks and smelled like someone had died in it.

What I'm looking forward to in 2012: MOVING BACK TO THE US!! Yeah I know you guessed it. Keep your fingers crossed for us to get somewhere on our top three, aka West Coast!!! Just in case you are asking yourself what our top three are... Portland, Oregon, Spokane, Washington, and San Jose, California... We know what we got in February.

Now you tell me, my beloved readers, what was your best and worst of 2011 AND what are you looking forward to in 2012?

I've had that happen to a fridge... it's terrible!! Congratulations on the weight loss! I'll have to check out the Dukan Diet! As for me:

Best - going on a caribbean cruise.
Worst - Almost everything else about this year... but my doggie having surgery was definitely a lower point.
Looking forward to - Getting orders and preparing to get the heck out of San Antonio!

Best - My AF career blooming like nobody's business! Top Honor Grad, Distinguished Grad, etc.
Worst - We hit some very low (not sure if I'd say rock bottom, but close) points financially and in our marriage this year.
Looking forward to - 2012 in general! DH is employed and we're getting everything back on track. Our marriage has come back from a bad spot, and we're making plans to pay off debt and finally take a much-needed vacation.

Mrs. Duh:: You should check out the Dukan diet I found it super easy. Wife of a Sailor tried, though, and she didn't like it so it isn't for everyone. If you want more info about it just send me an email and I can hook you up.

I would be excited to get out of SA, too. We were at Fort Hood for 6 years and Texas is not a place I like to live... although I did meet some of the best friends there.

Good Luck in 2012!!

ERIN:: LOVE YOU!! Good luck to you and your DH in the new year!

How do you expect to get Portland? There are no bases in Oregon... Well... there are Non-Active Duty bases... but nothing other than that? so confused. lol.

I miss Portland, *sigh*.
