First, I am a blogging fool today. Second, Taco Bueno gave me the skeeziest looking Taquitos EVER!
Finally, I was offered a position today to teach at Shoemaker HS in Killeen. I can see the school from my front yard and can walk to work!! Yea, for me... take that high gas prices! Anyway, it comes with a great salary (more than I make now) and a ton of bonuses since they need math teachers badly. I am not going to look to take some workshops this summer so that I am not totally unaware come fall. My first day will be August 11th and first day with students on the 25th. I am pretty excited but totally scared too. (Side note: these are nasty taquitos.) So, yea!
This is a little spot where I spend a few minutes musing on the stuff that is my life. I think I am pretty funny and totally fascinating so hopefully that is how you will feel too.
