Day Three is Favorite Television Program.
I am going to go with an All-Time favorite instead of a current favorite. Like movies I love TV. It is great to just tune in and tune out for a while and let your brain rest not having to think. I think because my brain is firing all day long, as an Engineer in my previous life and as a Math Teacher now, it is good to get to not think for a while. Adam doesn't get my love of TV but I guess it is different things to different people.
Now my favorite (and if you know ANYTHING about me you know what it is) is Friends. I don't think there was one episode that wasn't good. I don't remember ever walking away at 8:30PM on a Thursday night thinking... "damn, that was crap. Wish it could have been better." I always wanted my life to be like that. I wanted to have my best friends be my family, constantly in and out of my apartment always huge supports in my life. Friends has also shaped a lot of what I say and I can't imagine a world without Chandler, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, Monica and Joey. Just wish they could have been on for longer but the reruns are as good as they were the first time they aired.

I was never into Friends, but J loved it. I'm pretty sure he cried the last episode...
When I saw this post I already knew Friends! I am so on board with this one. This show shaped our lives!
I was never a big Friends watcher until I met my husband. He had the first seven seasons on dvd from a prior deployment. Whenever there is nothing on, I always pop in a disc. I love this show. Nothing will ever compare to it on the level of awesomeness it was.
I agree nothing will ever compare... How I Met Your Mother is great in a Friends sort of way but it is still not Friends.
