Getting Caught Up with Shizz

Okay, so I have gotten a little behind on all the fun and fluffy that I do every week due to my trip to the US for my Spring Break (I started a post on it but it turned out to be a SNOOZEFEST).  Anyway, if you have a minute read my MFF's from the last few weeks.

MFF #37

With PCS moves happening every few years, do you take the time to paint and decorate your home?
Adam has been in the Army for almost ten years and we have PCS'd once.  As I have said before he has went to school and deployed and what not but being that I work I stay put because usually his moves aren't for very long and it makes no sense for me to screw up my career.  So, yes, when we were in Texas for 6 years we bought a home that we painted, remodeled and decorated.

If you could live in any home on a television series, what would it be?
I really don't know.  I love tv but don't really focus on the sets.  Especially with only a couple of rooms being shown it is hard to tell if it is a great home.

What inspired you to start your blog?
I was bored and being that I was in the Southwest away from my friends in family in the PNW I wanted to share my life's goings on with them.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen on base?
At the ER one time a very bad mother when confronted by the Head Nurse and MP and threatened with having CPS called on her she responded, "Go Ahead! They know me by name!"

Which historical figure (politician, writer, artist, scientist, actor, etc…) would you like to have dinner with?
I would love to have a sit down with our Founding Fathers and see if they agree with all the shit people try to say they had in mind for our country.

How many pets do you have? And what type?
I have three Yorkies and they are spoiled rotten little babies.
Mac
Bubbles
Princess
What are your favorite projects to do while hubby is away?
Can't say I really had time when hubby was away.  Teaching takes up most of  my time.

What are the must-haves in your deployment care packages?
My care packages weren't well received so I sort of stopped sending them.  We stuck to emails and phone calls.  I really sound like a crappy Army Wife. HA!

If you could star in any TV show, which would it be?
It would be a reality show about my life.

What was the biggest hurdle that you faced during your/your significant other’s first deployment?
The 3 month extension we found out about while he was home for R&R making his deployment total 15 months and also the trial of his CO who had abused soldiers.

OMG....I LOVE your Yorkies. I have one...her name is Izzy! She's 3 1/2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 2 1/2 pounds! I want more, but we had to get my hubby a "MANLY" dog first. I'm not a stalker...just a new follower, fellow blogger, and military sister-wife :o)

@Blue, WELCOME! Even if you were a stalker it would be great to have you as a reader. Princess is Adam's dog and Bubble came to us by happenstance... he was abandoned and when he came to us as a foster he had signs of abuse and was so sweet I couldn't let him go anywhere else.
2.5 pounds is so tiny... mine weigh in from 4-6 pounds.
